MUN Impact Nigeria (MUNI Nigeria) is the Nigerian chapter of the global MUN Impact initiative, a youth-driven organization that empowers young people ages 10-25 to understand and take action on global issues through the Model United Nations (MUN) framework and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).As part of the global MUN Impact network, our mission is to help MUN clubs as well as Nigerian youth connect knowledge with action using diplomacy, dialogue, and leadership to create sustainable change in their communities to ultimately promote the SDGs.
We operate as a non-profit, volunteer-based organization with a focus on inclusivity, leadership development, and grassroots engagement across Nigeria.
Educate. Empower. Amplify.
AmpliYouth Advocacy Academy is a youth-centred development initiative dedicated to grooming a new wave of changemakers across Nigeria and Africa. Founded by Ayotunde Aboderin, the Academy complements the mission of MUN Impact Nigeria by equipping young people with the tools, resources and platforms they need to lead meaningful advocacy, engage with global issues and forge lasting impact in their communities.
In a rapidly changing world—where the SDGs, climate justice, governance and human rights demand urgent attention—young people from underserved regions often lack a structured, high-quality platform to channel their potential. The Academy bridges that gap: it gives youth a voice, a roadmap and the confidence to act. By working with MUN Impact Nigeria, we deepen our focus on youth engagement, global issues and sustainable development.
Whether you’re a student eager to lead, a facilitator wishing to mentor, or a partner looking to support youth action—AmpliYouth offers you a space to make real impact. Email us: aaboderin@munimpact.org.
The Phoenix Rising Project is a humanitarian and educational initiative under MUN Impact Nigeria that responds to the growing challenges faced by children and young people displaced by climate change and violent extremism across Nigeria. The project embodies the idea of “rising from the ashes”—restoring hope, rebuilding lives, and empowering the most vulnerable to create a better future for themselves and their communities.
Through education, mentorship, and community engagement, the Phoenix Rising Project equips displaced and at-risk youth with the skills, knowledge, and support needed to thrive despite adversity. The project provides learning materials, basic relief items, and safe learning environments to children in internally displaced persons (IDP) camps and conflict-affected communities. It also promotes climate resilience, peacebuilding, and social reintegration by engaging young people in constructive dialogue, civic education, and community-led action.
In partnership with local volunteers, schools, and government institutions, the project integrates Model United Nations and SDG education into its programs—introducing participants to global citizenship, diplomacy, and sustainable development. Many beneficiaries go on to join platforms like the AmpliYouth Advocacy Academy, where they develop leadership, storytelling, and advocacy skills to drive positive change in their communities.
Ultimately, the Phoenix Rising Project represents MUN Impact Nigeria’s commitment to building peace through education, empowering the displaced, and ensuring that no child is left behind due to conflict or climate crisis.
